Issue: Dynamics AX service failed to start due to below error:

Solution:
Open SSMS (SQL)
Run enter SSMS and Enter
Select the DB
Run the below script:
select * from SQLSystemVariables
WHERE PARM = 'SYSTIMEZONESVERSION'
UPDATE SQLSystemVariables
SET VALUE = 7
WHERE PARM = 'SYSTIMEZONESVERSION'
And the return to windows type CMD run as Admin
C:\windows\system32>
Type: net start AOS60$01
Will look like: C:\windows\system32>net start AOS60$01

Microsoft is pleased to announce the extension of mainstream and extended support for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
Support is extended to provide Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 customers with the standard product support lifecycle transition timeline. You can find more information about this release here.
This extended support timeline gives customers more flexibility to choose the best timing for their business to upgrade to the next major release or to Microsoft Dynamics AX, built on and for Azure.
The mainstream support expiration date will be extended to October 12, 2021, the extended support expiration date will be extended to January 10, 2023. For additional details, please visit the Support Lifecycle Policy website by clicking here.

WiFi not working on Windows Server 2012 R2
WiFi not working on Windows Server 2012 R2
We wanted to configure WiFi for Windows 2012 R2 Server OS
installed on Laptop.
We wanted to use WiFi, but every time I enabled the disabled
WiFi adapter it kept disabling itself again.
Solution:
We need to install the Wireless Lan Service in Server
Features.
So Run Server Manager -> Manage (Tab) -> Add Roles and
Features
Click through the wizard until you get to Features Section
and tick "Wireless Lan Service" (near the bottom).
Restart the server OS.
OK but wait the WiFi adapter is still disabled.
Quick check in Services:-
Server Manager -> Tools (Tab) -> Services and I
noticed the WLAN AutoConfig was not started.
Start this and bingo you can now connect using WiFi!

non-administrators RDP Access to Domain Controller
By default, only the members of Domain Admins group have the remote RDP access to the domain controllers. In this article we’ll show how to grant domain users RDP access to the domain controllers.
Many can quite reasonably object why ordinary domain users should have access to the DC desktop. Indeed, in small or middle size infrastructures, when several administrators with the privileges of domain admins maintain them, you’ll hardly need this. However, in large corporate networks maintained by many administrators, it may become necessary to grant RDP access to the DC for different server administration groups, monitoring team, duty administrators, or other technical specialists. Also, sometimes some third-party services, not managed by the domain administrators, are deployed on the DC, and there’s a need to maintain these services.
After the server has been promoted to a domain controller, when trying to open Local Users and Groups (lusrmgr.msc) console, it returns the following error:
The computer xxx is a domain controller. This snip-in cannot be used on a domain controller. Domain accounts are managed with the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
So it feels that there are no local groups on the domain controller. Actually, local groups on the domain controller don’t disappear. They can be managed from the command prompt.
Display the members of the local group Remote Desktop Users on the domain controller:
net localgroup "Remote Desktop Users"
As you can see, it is empty. Add a domain user it-pro to it. (In our example, it-pro is a standard domain user without administrative privileges.)
net localgroup "Remote Desktop Users" /add corp\it-pro
Make sure that the user is added to this group:
net localgroup "Remote Desktop Users"
However, after that a user still cannot connect to the DC using Remote Desktop.
To sign in remotely, you need the right to sign in through Remote Desktop Services. By default members of the Administrators group have this right. If the group you’re in does not have the right, or if the right has been removed from the Administrators group, you need to be granted the right manually.
The matter is that the possibility of the RDP connection in Windows is determined by Allow log on through Remote Desktop Services policy (In Windows 2003 or earlier this policy is called Allow log on through terminal services). After the server is promoted to the DC, only the Administrators group is left in this policy.
To allow connection to the domain controllers members of the Remote Desktop Users group you need to:
· Start local policy editor (gpedit.msc)
· Go to Computer Configuration -> Windows settings -> Security Settings -> Local policies -> User Rights Assignment
· Find the policy Allow log on through Remote Desktop Services
· Edit the policy by adding the local group Remote Desktop Users (like this: dc-name\Remote Desktop Users), a domain user, or a group (like this: domain\somegroupname) to it
· Run the update of the local policiesgpupdate /force
After the changes are made, the users or groups specified above will have the opportunity to connect to the domain controller using RDP.

Issue:
Unwanted users in the user form other domain when Database is refreshed by code and data in AX 2012 R3.
I have my VM as Dev.local, I refreshed the Code and Data by Production DB which is in Google.local domain, when i select the users from the front end of AX, it gives and info log as below:
Cannot delete batch jobs in the executing or cancelling state.
Cannot delete a record in Batch job (BatchJob). The corresponding AOS Validation failed.
AX: AX 2012 R3, CU8
OS: Windows Server 2012
SQL: SQL 2014
Solution:
If we check then correct method is to find the Batch Jobs and then delete them first, however when i am deleting the users i thought of deleting the users from DB , since this will quick and easy!

and Done!

A few days back, I had registered for a second try of the MB6-705 Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8 Installation and Configuration, two weeks back I tried this exam and failed with 583, this time it was a bit more successful and today I passed with 716! :)

Issue: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms
AX: AX 2012 R3, CU8
OS: Windows Server 2012
SQL: SQL 2014
Solution:
Start> Run> regedit >
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa In this folder you should see FipsAlgorithmPolicy.
DELETE this (FipsAlgorithmPolicy ) registry entry and restart the server.
